Nomad Sculpt runs on basically any modern iPad, but RAM and chip matter once scenes get heavy. Here are the two I'd pick today.
M-chip muscle in the smaller chassis. Fits any bag, plenty of horsepower for Nomad. The honest starting point.
Tandem OLED, M4, ProMotion. Overkill until your scenes hit a million polys, then the only one that doesn't stutter.
The reason iPad sculpting works at all. Pressure, tilt, palm rejection, and the new squeeze + barrel-roll gestures Nomad Sculpt is starting to map.
Kills the glass slip. The pencil grips like paper, which is the difference between fighting the tablet and forgetting it's there.
Long sculpting sessions wreck your neck if the tablet sits flat. The Lululook locks at every angle, magnetic snap-on, folds away.
Most of what I post is shot on the iPhone, lit by one key light, and edited on the iPhone. The fancy gear came after the workflow worked.
Sharp enough for product shots, fast enough for handheld process. ProRes when I need depth.
For the top-down sculpt shots. Adjustable column with horizontal arm. C-clamp to desk, ball head on top.
One large softbox is more useful than three small panels. App-controlled from the phone, dims to warm.
The setup matters less than the reps. If you've got an iPad and a Pencil, you've got everything. Start with the lettering course or grab the material pack.
