Any iPad that runs Nomad Sculpt works. We recommend an iPad Pro or iPad Air with Apple Pencil for the best experience. The M1 chip or newer handles complex scenes smoothly, but older iPads work fine for the course projects.

Do I need prior 3D modeling experience for the 3D Lettering Course?

No prior 3D experience is needed. The 3D Lettering Course starts from the basics and walks you through every tool step by step. It is designed for iPad artists, illustrators, and designers who want to add 3D lettering to their skillset.

What is the difference between the 3D Lettering Course and the Techniques Course?

The 3D Lettering Course focuses specifically on creating 3D typography in Nomad Sculpt, from simple block letters to complex decorated type. The Techniques Course covers broader 3D sculpting skills including modeling, lighting, materials, and rendering workflows for various project types.

How long do I have access to the courses after purchase?

You get lifetime access. Once purchased, you can watch the course videos as many times as you want, at your own pace. Any future updates to the course content are included.

What is included in the 64 Smart Materials Pack?

The pack includes 64 PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials for Nomad Sculpt. You get realistic textures like metals, wood, stone, fabric, plastic, and abstract materials. Each material includes albedo, roughness, metallic, and normal maps that work with Nomad Sculpt's material system.

How do I install the Smart Materials in Nomad Sculpt?

After purchase, download the material files to your iPad. Open Nomad Sculpt, go to the Material panel, tap Import, and select the downloaded files. A step-by-step installation guide is included with your purchase. The process takes about 2 minutes.

Will the Smart Materials work with the latest version of Nomad Sculpt?

Yes. The materials are compatible with Nomad Sculpt 1.74 and newer. We update the pack when major Nomad Sculpt versions introduce format changes. If you run into any compatibility issues, contact us and we will help.

What brush packs are available for Adobe Fresco?

We offer the Emoji Brush Pack, the Multicolor Brush Pack, and a Bundle that includes both. The Emoji Brush Pack contains custom emoji-style stamps. The Multicolor Brush Pack includes brushes that paint with multiple colors in a single stroke for unique illustration effects.

How do I install brushes in Adobe Fresco?

Download the .abr brush files to your iPad. Open Adobe Fresco, go to the Brush panel, tap the plus icon, and select Import from Files. Choose the downloaded brush file and it will appear in your brush library. Installation instructions are included with your purchase.

What is Flate and how do I use the 3D Typeface?

Flate is a 3D typeface, a set of pre-made 3D letter models you can use in Nomad Sculpt or other 3D apps. Import the letter files into your project to quickly compose 3D text without modeling each character from scratch. Great for titles, logos, and typographic artwork.

Can I use nebenzu products for commercial projects?

Yes. All nebenzu products come with a commercial license. You can use the materials, brushes, and typeface in client work, prints, social media content, and commercial artwork. The only restriction is redistribution of the original files.

How does the download work after purchase?

After completing your purchase, you receive an email with download links. You can also access your downloads from your nebenzu.de account page. Downloads are available immediately and do not expire.

Do you offer refunds?

Since all products are digital downloads and courses with immediate access, we generally do not offer refunds. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using a product, contact us at hello@nebenzu.de and we will find a solution.

Can I learn Nomad Sculpt on iPhone or do I need an iPad?

Nomad Sculpt runs on iPhone, but the courses are designed for iPad with Apple Pencil. The larger screen and pencil precision make a significant difference for 3D modeling. We strongly recommend iPad for the best learning experience.
